Thanks, Canopykang! But teacher told yesterday that it is 24.x% while national rate is 19.x%. Anyway, do you know if RV has plan to teach KI?29.3% FYI, it's ONLY lower than RJC, HCI, and VJC.
RV has chosen not to offer KI. -

I was unable to note down the A results…Such a hurry dialogue.
Anybody can confirm the GP distinction rate, 25%? lower than non-IP JCs?
And, RV cannot teach KI for JC level?
Thanks! -
RE: River Valley High School principal assisting CPIB
I am not willing to judge him as he never believe EQ and would rather be regarded as "more bark than bite".
In fact, I paid $250 for Taiwan trip visa. The TW embassy, instead, quotes $27 and tour agents quotes from $90 to $120 for emergent visa. Meanwhile, the group of 18 "vip" kids are accompanied by 4 teachers and 2 guides. -
RE: Is PSLE so important?
Just read news about Outstanding Teachers awards, is it "allow the officers to fire, prohibit the populace to light"? Will he cancel primary school’s annual commendation due to "stressful primary study"?
Sometimes, hard to grasp their logic. Just like "teach less, then learn more". If so, why not "teach nothing, then kids learn everything"?
This time, Funny again. -

Assumedly you care more about GPA, I understand you want a better figure in another school which is not a SAP. Different school, however, has different difficulty level in same subject. e.g. a non-SAP school's EL is possibly much more difficult than that of RV. So possibly, you GPA would remain at the same percentile even though you transferred.I think if u conditional promote at year one to year two .
If cannot make the cut at year 2 u will be made to repeat
Moreover, the deeper learning is more meaningful for OLevel CL than GPA. To improve \"poor\" subject makes sense.
As to your \"poor\" CL, you would not be so concern once you find out that Chinese student's CL is A2 at most, and ONLY ONE A1 in your level. -

Hi, can anybody throw light on:
For year 1, what will the student do for the whole month after end-of-year exams? Will they learn new stuff? -
RE: 2012 PSLE Discussions and Strategy
Suppose it is " argument… was over toys".
argument is an abstract noun, usually used in singular. For abstract nouns in plural, they means "several material THINGs/ACTIVITIEs". Since it is only about toys, one thing, "argument…was" is better.
