First you need to get SBL letter and stamped application form ,SBL committee will consider the length of membership,volunteer,active member ... etc. all these factors will be open I think.
if got SBL letter,you can submit the letter and stamped application form to Mee Toh,School Management Committee will have a meeting to decide again based on the form, parents and child info. such as name,addr,occupation... will be put on the form, but do not have SBL member info such as when joined. how they decide to reject,....nobody knows except for the management members,and refuse to give any reason, and you can not visit any management member for this... btw,my kid is in 1km and citizen which match moe's select rule but got rejected.

Wondering how these Buddhists can decide it,from kids' name,picture,parents' occupation....?

Hi, from what l had heard from a parent who got in last yr thru SBL. He did volunteer work and had join membership for more than 2yrs. Thus he were selected as from what he know SBL over issue letters to it member.As he had done volunteer work there he manage to get in.

encountered the same thing again this year,submitted SBL letter but rejected by MTS without any reason! :stompfeet: Wondering how the Sch Management committee make the selection.

Will write letter to MOE but do not think MOE will help anything as such things happened in MTS almost every year.

We are just asking for mere transparency in the selection process of those who are selected via clan route. Why out of the many who applied, these 12 applicanats are selected? Why can't a fair ballot be done to select the 12? Best still is all should all who are eligible under P2B - PV, RC & clan

Does anyone being rejected by MTS without a valid reason at Phase 2B going to ask the MTS fir reason? Will MTS ignore those rejected parents? Does anyone raise this matter to MOE?

Should we write a letter to MOE or MP for this.

Look at the vacancy by phases, you will realise that there are parent who enter 2B phase give out their seats. Which resulted to an increase on 2C phase from orginally 67 to 70.

While parent like us who really wish our kid to enter the school was not even given a chance in 2B with valid letter from BL.

Anyway,I have register my son with another school. However, I am willing to help out for the sake of furture parent going by this route.
