Hi… these are 1st and 2nd choices for my son. Posting results will only be out on 22 dec. Both school uniforms are sold by Shanghai uniform which indicates on their website that orders has to be received before 15 dec, which is impossible. And appointment is also closed from 21 dec. Therefore i am preparing to review other options. -

RE: Seeds D'learning House - Discussion
Hi Xi-Fu,
So glad to hear about your comments on Seeds at Tembeling Centre, I’ve been searching arounds for recent comments on Seeds and so happy that you shared.
I paid a visit to Seeds and spoke to the principal, who was a nice, gentle and patient lady. I liked the overall cleanliness, and the small ratio of students to teachers. Saw the compositions on the boards, and was very impressed. The principal however did not mention about the PM sessions, I was not aware that they could actually stay till 5pm, or it applies to older kids only? my son is 2.5 years old.
I visited them on a sat, so i will be going down again on a weekday, because i need to hear and meet the teachers personally. Teachers are very important i feel. Do you have any comments on the teachers at Seeds?
thanks for sharing and good to know your are satisfied with them. -
RE: [Bedok/Katong/Marine Parade/Siglap] Preschools
Hi,
Does anyone have any feedback on Seeds D Learning House at Tembeling Road?
Have paid a visit to the school, and liked the Principal, who is a gentle patient woman, and had a long talk with her. Liked the fact that the child to teacher ratio is low, and the cleanliness of the school. Just that the playgroup is only 2.5 hours, including teabreak which i find a little short.
hope to get some feedbacks!
cheers, -
RE: [Geylang] Preschools
Hi Bee!
Sad to say, I’ve withdrawn my son after 2 months of school.
He love school a lot, i think he likes one of the assistant teacher there who takes very good care of him. Whenever he sees her, then he will step into school. He became more independent too, and talks more.
the problem is, he had fever occurence 4 times within less than 2 months, cough, flu and bad throat. I know it’s normal for kids to fall sick, but i think fever is something that shouldnt occur so often. Last weekend, he had fever fit (39.2 degrees), and I totally lost it, and decide to just remove him from school.
I guess it could be that Kyra is a childcare, so parents would have to leave the kids there due to work committments, even if the kid have not fully recovered.
Initially I wanted to just stop school for a month and see how it goes, however, I think the reply i got from the school was not very satisfactory - something along kids will build better immunity if they fall sick. I checked with my PD, and she told me those are bullshit. Kids build their immunity as they grow older, not by falling sick. and insist that i have to pay one month fees even if i wish to stop for a month, giving me the analogy of having to still pay rent even if you do not stay in the house.
I’m now on the search for a pre-school for playgroup, but not childcare facilities. Thinking of starting him when he turns 3 (he is not 2.5).
