    • RE: All About T-Score

      Hi,

It comes across to me that 2008 PSLE results are more competitive. Student’s scores are very close to each other. But this year the results are very widespread. meaning the smart ones are really smart, getting 270 and above. There are only a handful of people who gets 260-269 and majority are in the range of 250-255.

Do you see the same pattern in your kid’s school ?

Anyone knows where can we get information on score breakdown ? I am keen to find out % of students who gets 270 and above, 260-269, 255-259 and etc.

      cheers,

Given Dunman High is a popular school, wouldnt her chance be lowered if we put it as 2nd choice ?

My girl gets 257 and merit for HCL.

Would appreciate your comment on my chances if below is my choice of schools.

1st choice : NJC (-2 point), last year COP : 259. This is a non-SAP school hence cannot add 2 marks from HCL.

      2nd Choice : Dunman High (-1 point), last year COP : 260.

      3rd choice : River Valley High , COP 254

      4th Choice : St Nicholas

Based on the above, what is her chance like to get into Dunman High if she fails to get NJC ? Does it make sense to make DHS 1st choice and NJC 2nd choice ?
