I am attracted to the school approach in teaching children via a fun approach.

However, I find the school's management not efficient, organised and responsive.

Will like to hear from existing parents of NVPS, is the above comments valid?

In addition, how do you find the school management, teachers and your child's progress so far. Is your child's academic comparable with child his/her age?

Why not you go to the school and check out.

So far my son are progressing and teacher did inform us what actually happen with my son.

BTW, sooner or later all school will move on to new education system like Aus & US.

Any Parent bought that netbook for you kids?

They like it cos of the activities they have during lessons. Alot of learn through play (based on what I heard from my students and their parents).

End up, my students do not like 'academic work' like worksheets and practice questions to prepare for exams. A few of them are trying to transfer out because they are worried that they do not have the ability to keep providing tuition to their children to ensure they are ready by P6 for PSLE, competing with other kids in SG.

But I think that is nothing new from north vista right.

As a parent, we can't put the blame 100% to the school we need to do our part. So far my kids are doing well, and he did some regular practices (legacy study) at home.

Most important is communicate with the teacher and understand the school direction. As well as the kids how he/she behaving.

You have to spend times with the kids, understand them. Not just based on what you heard or you seem, some kids suitable for north vista, some might not.

:? just wondering how a 7yr old kid would spend 7 hrs(8-3pm++) in school 4 days a weeks.

I just went there today ... is completely new

I'm stay right beside it, but can't get my son into the school.


Any parent can show me the lights ? Even volunteer job for the school I'm fine with it ...
