I ended up choose a Filipino maid.

So far so good.

I just took one maid from them . So far so good.


It’s Filipino and the pay is $450 every month.

The maid agreed for not having any off days.

So far she does her job well.

I hope this can continue going.

My friend did the renewal for her Myanmese passport last time. She brought the maid down to the Embassy to renew and she can collect the new passport on that day itself.


As for the Work permit renewal, you can renew her work permit one week before the work permit expiring as it takes one day for the insurance to connect and it take one day to submit the renewal.

after that, just wait for the new wp card to be delivered to you

There are some agencies which help in bringing your own maid from their country but they do have some charges.

ask your agent to help translate the schedule into Myanmese so that they can understand better.


Sometimes they just can’t understand English.

The fees are different based on each and every agency.


Sometimes , they will give replacements , free documentation during replacement or so on.

Just be clear of everything before you make a decision.
