      Hi,

Appreciate if anyone can share your review with me for the following. Not sure which enrichment centre is good for my child who is in P6 next year..
      a) Germinate
      b) Sowing seedz
      c) The Pique Lab

He is currently with Mindstretcher but i am considering switching for him because I find its not effective for him...
      Thanks.

With CDD or DDD A-level results, can still enter Engineering / Nursing ?
The indicative grade profiles are shown for the 10th Percentile, so there may be grades below what is indicated.

For CDD, NTU's Civil Engineering, as well as Electrical Engineering & Electronic Engineering, have their 10th Percentile at CDD/C. I think the /C is the H1 grade which is GP/PW?

That said, to squeeze in at the bottom, meant you need to double up your effort unless the grades were accidentally bad. With these CCC/CDD grades, that meant your Maths and Science are not great and may therefore struggle in Engineering which are numbers heavy. Take that into consideration.

Hi parents allow me share my view:

6% students entered IP drop off. 94% completed it. If I am making decision, 94% is a good odd to opt for IP. To further mitigate the risk I will 1) see that my child is reasonably flexible type to go thru IP curriculum. 2) And also monitor my child performance closely, during the 2 junior high years and transfer out to mainstream if under perform due to not suited to curriculum. If with a 94% odds and after the 2 migrations, still unsuccessful, then c'est la vie. But it can also happened to mainstream students too - don’t live up to initial expectation. Moreover in unsuccessful situation, still have options in retake A level or poly- those discussed. Just have to accept have to spend more times doing the “detours”. To me, mentally prepared to accept the various outcomes is important. Ops I have a true story to tell again. It help to explain where I coming from: a local MP once said:” even if you work hard, it is still possible your boss doesn’t appreciate your work”. That doesn’t mean we stop trying. 😎
These are the links to NUS and NTU indicative grade profiles for AY21/22 intake.

CCC or CCD can get you into some of the Engineering, Science and Arts courses. Even if you can't adjust to IP, I don't think CCC is a stretch too far.

On a side note, my goodness me, how much has Engineering fallen???? It used to be the creme-de-la-creme that goes to Engineering, while the borderline get sent to Computing. Now it is totally reversed. You can think and do IT jobs with Engineering training, but you can't think like an Engineer with Computing! Computing can be self-learned, Engineering you can't.

Of course, you should never use whatever number they provide in the SMS sent to you, when you are unsure of the SMS in the first place. But if you called the bank directly with its published number, then it will be fair for them to challenge you to make sure you are genuine.
I didn't receive any SMS nor did I call back anyone. I meant I/you will sometimes receive a call from the bank with regards to some matter. It was indeed a genuine call from the bank calling me after the fact. But the funny thing is, they call me about a certain matter, but will say \"before I proceed, can I verify your identity?\". How do I know you are not a scam or phishing call? They should instead ask us to call back the bank through their well-publicized public number and get authenticated and reconnect to the bank employee who is calling us through that channel, so we know we are indeed talking to someone from the bank.

I see. Well, I agree with zac's mum that no official bank will communicate through Whatsapp. They will use SMS but in general they should call you directly if they want you to do something. Never respond to any SMS requests.
It's not foolproof. I once had the bank contact me, and then they ask to verify my identity by asking some of the usual questions about myself and my banking relationship. I refused to answer because I ask her, \"How do I know you are actually the bank calling me?'.
