Can you approach the school directly with your request if you are not already part of the school?

If your child is already in NUSH , just get him/her to approach the seniors who will be more than helpful.
The school produces its own materials/references and guards the IP tightly. I understand that they will not hesitate to take decisive steps to protect any inappropriate dissemination. :nunchuk:

The kids are reminded not to circulate the materials to external parties and must be careful to dispose the materials properly. Most just pass the materials on to juniors to stay on the right side of law. :hugs: There is also a textbook sale at the end of the year for the kids to find their books a new home within their school community. :grphug:

Hi, may i check to fill up the DSA template, do we fill the achievements by year eg for Maths Olympiad competitions, input as 2020 and list down the individual competitions under Brief Description or list down each competition in separate table ? Thanks.

Make a list of all the achievements that you want to include.

If it is less than 10 (note that there is a limit of 10 entries), then put the most significant achievement (eg. a platinum Vs a gold; a gold Vs a silver, ...) as the 1st entry and so on. Also try to include P5 & P6 achievements as the top entries, followed by P4 only if you have less than 10 entries.

If you have more than 10 entries, it is quite safe to exclude P3 & below (or even P4 depending on the award).

The key point is do not leave out recent significant non-school based achievements for the talent area you are applying.

Chances would be very low. There’s no harm applying for NUSH coz if he fares well for PSLE he can try supplementary intake.

But for RI it would honestly be a waste of the 3 DSA choices. His best chance of entering RI would be using PSLE results. He is better off using his DSA choices on slightly less popular IP or dual track schools.
