Thanks Zac's mum! I am very happy you replied! I can see how you blossomed from a mummy unsure of BRMCK to knowing the in-outs. It gives me a booster to see that a k1 boy's mummy is still active in a thread mostly for unsure kiasu parents like myself. Really kudos to you for queuing up in the wee hours for the registration 2 years back.


You do make a good point stating that the other schools I listed down are mostly childcare centres. I am not working so I guess it gives me ever more reasons to look at kindergartens. I shall sit down and sieve through the centres.

I am about 95% sure of BRMCK but just want to have a peace of mind and leave no stones unturned for my son's educational opportunities.

BTW did you ultimately make cloth type of name labels for your son when he was in N1? Do I do it too for my son in N2? Can PM me where to make them if possible? TIA!

Also in one of your thread you said something like seeing your son choosing his own pace, you see him learn ahead of his regular class for certain topics. May I know how do you do that? What I understand is that parents can't see what their kids are doing cos we are not allowed in for security reasons? Thanks much!

Because I am a kiasu parent? Because the school term doesn’t start until next year and I still have time to look around? Because I am spending a lot of money per term and if there is a better kindy now in my area that parents are sending their kids to then I want to check that school out before its too late to withdraw? I am sure any parent kiasu enough will naturally grab what is the best first but let go of their catch should there be a better one. So this question of still looking around to see what kindy is the best fit for my kid in my neighbourhood will go on in my head until I finally find or is convinced that BRMCK is indeed the best fit for my kid. I don’t see anything wrong with that and I am certainly hoping some knowledgeable parents will answer my question and share their finds instead of just giving comments to my question.

Hi my son is registered for N2 (AM) in 2016 at BRMCK. I didn’t queue but just walk in so does it mean the kindy is not as popular as before? Since they entertained a walk-in at this time of the year and there is vacancies for following year?


I am new in the Novena estate so I haven’t explore all the kindy. Is BRMCK better than Learning Vision at Gentle Road and KiddiWinkie and NAFA? What other kindy should I consider? Thanks
