i just got back from school. Very disappointed with my son's results..he got 179 . 2c and 2b. I dont feel like reading this thread anymore because i keep seeing \"oh ive got 230, or 240, or 260 etc etc..\" Im happy for the all those who have performed well but why couldnt one of them be my son. We sent him from tuiton A to tuiton B to tuiton C. Spent $$$. Burnt the midnite oil..Prayed and prayed but what is the end results???

Hope someone can feel what I am feeling now....

Please dont be too upset. Im sure we as parents, will like our child to do well but if they didnt manage to, we still need to encourage them.

It is not the end of the road for them. Im sure when it comes to O levels and beyond, your child will make you proud...

I am sure this is a beginning to a fruitful journey for your child!

After talking to some parents. There are pretty mix reviews about the PSLE Math Paper. More training/revision should be given by allowing those taking PSLE to try to do harder papers.

On another note, a couple of my friends whose children took the Foundation Math are a whole lot more anxious. Their kids felt that it was more of a test of language and understanding rather than their knowledge of math.

Paper 1 2-marks MCQ were really challenging and worst still, the Paper 2 was very wordy and not easy to do… If the standard pupils found it hard to their paper, just imagine what these foundation students are going through…

Morale is at an all time low, i guess!
