    • RE: Applying to Universities

Hi understand there is this early admission exercise to NUS/ntu for jc2 students. How does it work? Is it a conditional offer and any min score to attain?

If the score is BCC/B, choice becomes limited.

This is only for Faculty of Science.

      Not everyone into physics

This ntu high tea session invites jc2 students only or include those who just receive a level results ? Thanks

I think it's for those who got their A Level Results recently although I'm surprised someone said JC 2 also got invited.

In fact, not all of nylon DS' classmates received the invitation.

Thanks for your reply. So the high tea includes jc2 plus post a level results students. My Son is currently jc2 and is invited to attend

9 out of 10 score A for lit is not the norm… the previous year was 7 out of 10, same as other humanities… econs result is a de-provement from previous years so picking based on interest, aptitude etc is better. I am wowed by the lit performance, well done!

Thank you all, for the above replies.

Nephew just collected his results yesterday and it prompted some thoughts as he is a very left brain person and the contrasting subject and higher chinese may have ‘cost’ him his scholarship opportunity unfortunately. Perhaps it would be better if he had went to NUSH as he was offered to do H3 chemistry and H3 maths. Can’t turn back the clock though.
Does higher Chinese that important in scholarships? Don’t think so right ?
