NS boys will only by offered SMU scholarship in the year they are matriculated eg 2018 for my son who just collected his A levels results.

I think I shd post my qn clearly.

DS wants to work in Banking and Finance sector. He is offered NTU Double Degree Prog Accts n Biz (0ffered Nanyang Scholarship). SMU Double Degree Prog Biz and Econs (yet to rcv scholarship).

He is not interested to be an Accountant but don’t mind studying Accts for knowledge. So which course is more suitable for him for his career path?

Is it useful to do a double degree?

For Banking and Finance, NTU or SMU provides better training? My DS is offered DDP Accts and Biz in NTU, is it redundant to study Accts if he wants to work in Banking and Finance?

Need some advise pls. DS enlisted last week and he is currently serving BMT at Tekong and he just received an email (I read on his behalf) requiring him to attend a scholarship interview. Is it possible to apply leave during the first 3 weeks BMT.

Had Straight A's with no S papers or any CCAs. Applied for every single scholarship I could get my hands on, and eventually received the SMU Scholarship. Keeping it is another thing, but if I had to give any advice on getting it, it would be like applying for a job - it's a numbers game, and most questions can be prepared for.

Congratulations. Was there an interview for the SMU scholarship? My son was shortlisted for the SMU Lee Kong Chian scholarship and need to attend a briefing on 24 March 16. No news for the SMU scholarship. When did you receive the SMU scholarship? His grades 5As GP B.
