    • RE: Flat Feet Problem

I have this discussion with Dr Jessica about the age for insole for children. She said that if they have no problems and are less than 6, then no need. But if they are falling or clumsy or got pain then can treat one. More for the symptoms… If your younger son have any problems like that he should get one bcoz if he is in pain or falls over more when he be running around then how? Wait for 2 years with him in pain?

Because she treats many children patient I think I would trust her. Also back to my earlier post, how can public be more ex??

My marital home is a 5-room flat (staying with MIL) which cost us less than $200K then. We did not have a wedding dinner but we went to Europe for honeymoon (my first overseas holiday). Our wedding bands were from a neighbourhood jewellery shop. Even with all these, we were broke as we spent all our savings for each major event of our lives. I had some medical conditions for my first pregnancy and that took away our savings again. Both of us had our master degrees in between our wedding and first kid and that took away some money too. We started from zero saving after our first child was born. But I have no regrets as we are a very happy family now. 🙂

Having experience like this make you a better person! 😄

OK! So we went for our 6 month follow-up review with Dr Jessica yesterday and want to share the good health news! :rahrah:

My daughter feet have improved, still not 100% so will need maybe another 6 months or year of treatment. The good news is, her feet can still use the same insoles so no need to buy new one just yet , only need to keep wearing them every day like normal in school. Also was talking with a man in the waiting room from Indonesia, he says that for the past 12 years he has skin problem that all the specialist in malaysia, indonesia and singapore cannot fix, then see Dr Jessica for painful heel, and she also diagnose his skin problem, and his pain is gone and no more skin problem...I thought she only treat bone problem....

I have picture to show my daughter progress but from this computer its not working one. Will try from different comp tomorrow :xedfingers: finger crossed my daughter feet still keep improving!

    • RE: Twist Ankle

Maybe can go see dr Jessica that is mentioned in the flat feet topic? She is foot specialist, although I don't think she will \"let blood\".

I find the thought of having blood taken out scary!! :nosebleed:

Anyone knows what is the criteria to apply the star card? My DS is already 12, can we still apply?

The star card is from toys r us. You don't need to have children to get the card. I'm quite sure mine was free but it was when I purchased something from there..

She asked my ds to do tip toe exercise everyday to improve his condition. 1st observation was that he can squat better now (without falling over like humpty dumpty) though it's just been a few days.

She really has some instant fixes right? I thought it was impossible to fix these types of problems with results so fast one. Also for your son, it just goes to show that the feet actually have many problems, not just plain old flat feet.

    • Advice to prevent fussy eaters

Today I was given a very good piece of advice to help stop children from developing bad eating habits. When starting to feed your babies solid food (this should be at around 5-6 months) start with non-sweet vegetables like potato and rice cereal only. Once the baby is eating this for a few weeks without problems, then add in sweet vegetables like carrot and sweet potato. Again feed a combo of the non-sweet and sweet for a few weeks. Lastly feed fruit mixes like apple. I was told that babies will have a higher chance of not wanting to eat non-sweet things if they start out on sweet foods.

Just a bit of advice I thought I would share…

    • RE: Flat Feet Problem

New update for this podiatrist. My cousins daughter also went for treatment from dr Jessica for \"pigeon toe\" walking, which is basically walking with toe pointed in. After just one month of treatment her legs are straight and doesn't need any more treatment. Why did we not hear about this profession before?? My cousin spend so many hours and $$ at KK hospital and no improvement for 2 years, then stop because it was no use one. They should start a podiatry school in Singapore, very good proffesion but hardly any around!

😄 here is the website For anyone who have children that got feet problem http://podiatry.orchardclinic.com/

Sure, her clinic is called Orchard Clinic. I know their are other doctors there, so ask for Jessica. The phone is 68844123. I just went back today for another pair so that I can wash one sometimes. The price of $144 is because I have star card from toys r us, otherwise is $180, but is still cheaper than others even without star card… I wonder why?
