Hi fellow parents, not sure if anyone has any insights on this - my daughter has been offered HCL for Primary 3. May I know what are the pros and cons if we do opt in for HCL? Especially in terms of PSLE grading, are there any benefits to do HCL? Appreciate if you can share your experience especially fellow parents who have had kids who did HCL at RGPS. Thank you!!!

As there are always limited vacancies for school transfers, may I know if the child stands a higher chance if she has won some awards such as Edusave/education merit and model pupil award etc? Hi, a bit late to the bandwagon… but just to confirm a GRL can now apply to schools from any GRC as long as it’s within 2km. Is that correct? Was there any news article shared on this? I can’t believe I missed this!

Hi everyone… May I check if the 30 months rule still applies in the following scenario?


Successful Registration at Phase 2B (GRL and resident at GRC where school is located). However I am staying more than 2km away. The school I am looking at traditionally has no balloting at Phase 2B. Given this, do I still have to stay in the same GRC for 30 months? Appreciate your advice!
