Omg .... You replied soooo... Late...
Hi G Tan, I wonder if you found out anything different but I had understood the MEP to be catered for the 4 year O Level track. My daughter is starting IP in 2013 too. If it is possible to combine IP and MEP (need to confirm with school) the student should have a very strong interest in music as they expect MEP students to commit to a music CCA, unless the student is in a school sports team. I decided to let my daughter pursue her music outside school.G Tan:

RE: 2013 School Holiday shorten?
sleepyqueen:
Isn't it suppose to be 10 weeks per term? So the 0.5 goes to where?
Term 1 starts from week 0 instead of week 1 -
RE: 2013 School Holiday shorten?
verykiasumummy:
yup, it is shorten. I counted again. Normally primary school has 6 weeks holidays in year end. 2013, they only has 5.5 weeks
i dun quite follow u... if i go by calendar days, there is still difference in the number of days for holiday next yr right??BigDevil:
A while back, one airline was having 2-for-the-price-of-1 promo that is valid till Mar 31. I counted 10 weeks from the start of the year, and almost bought tickets for the \"March holidays\".
Fortunately, I double checked MOE website and found that term 1 is actually 10.5 weeks long. So that extra half week in term 1 eats into the year end holiday. -
