Oh dear, I think I 离题for my chinese paper 1 :sad: :gloomy:

I had memorised 2 compos which could be used for many different topics and covered a broad range, only to flip open the paper and see the words 自私.

By then, my mind went blank and I resisted the urge to vomit all over my paper. I saw that the 6 pictures were much easier than the 命题 and concluded that more pupils would write about the pictures, hence I decided to try the latter so as to ( hopefully ) gain more marks.

Well, looks I walked straight into my deathbed.

I started writing about a younger brother who was being a brat and annoying his sister ( me ) when she was trying to study for PSLE. I only realised that my plot had already 离题 when I was halfway through. So naturally, I panicked. But then I realised I made another grave mistake :scared: :frustrated:

After completing my compo with 4 minutes to spare, I flipped through the question paper and I saw the words 你从这件事学到了什么。

I realised that I wasn’t the one who learned the lesson and scrambled to change the names. I intended to replace 我 with 小丽 and 弟弟 with 我. But just when I was changing 我 to 小丽, I ran out of time.

The bad thing was I didn’t even manage to make myself present in the story by replacing 弟弟. :stupid:

I’m so worried about my score as a friend of mine had gotten 16/40 when she 离题. Would I suffer the same fate?

Hm , based on what i heard from my teacher if you do , your content at max get 4 marks . however if your language use is good , it might pull up your marks by a bit ! ( but im in higher chinese so, im not sure if its normal or higher )

I think that the story u wrote is accepted, bcos they never give u a topic to write about and at pic 6, u can write anything u want.
