This year is our country Singapore SG50 and it is my first time I have a guest coming from Japan to stay over my place. I do hope to win so that I can bring her and my children to share our country big celebration. And also to let her know how our country is united together and celebrate such a big event.

EESIS cutoff should be 257.xxx this year. Top 10% is around 250.

i plan to make her revise her work thoroughly during june holidays.. i like the idea of volunteer work too.. can anyone enlighten me please how to get volunteer work? dd loves old folks if it's related to old folks she will be running for it for sure.. thanks in advance for any advice!

I registered DD with volunteer now. They send e-mails about upcoming events which need volunteers.

DS had a long and busy day at school. He came back and started Maths HW at 8.30pm. He struggled with some questions as he is confused about equalising the equation for Algebra. Said teacher only went through quickly.

He was frustrated. I tried to show him how to do it (but working is different from textbook) and he said it will not be acceptable if workings are different. He raised his voice, I felt 'gek sim' he was so loud, I no eye to see
Although he managed to work through the questions, I have no mood to be friendly towards him. I know I should not behave this way but...

Actually he did not realise I was kind of upset last night because he was happily asking how was my sleep etc when I drove him to school this morning! :slapshead:
