I thought it's not quite right as the sentences given are in past tense, but I'm not sure if it should be :-
(a). I would be punished by the teacher unless I completed my assignment on time.

OR

(a). I would be punished by the teacher unless I had completed my assignment on time.

Any thoughts on this?

But this sounds very clunky. Something like:
I'd never complete my assignment on time unless [I'd be punished by the teacher] / [the teacher would punish me].

Anyway, HTH. I'm intrigued to know what the model answer is.

I think that answer is not 1 as nothing in the question to suggest a reduction in population of rats prior to March. Moreover, if population of rats decrease prior to March, the reduction should be steeper after March when snakes are introduced and not reducing at a constant rate. Hope it helps.

Do a cut and paste, Area A is now replaced by a segment on top of a triangle of base 28 cm and height 28 cm.
