His team got to work very hard to retain the seat.

Wonder his team will work as hard for the next 4-5 years. :scratchhead:

Not all 263 are the same. There is no denying that some got it with a lot of external help too...and probably will continue to need that level of help to maintain that standard. Therefore life thereafter will be very diff for those with extensive external help vs those with minimal help.

      Agreed.

I would want my kids to get into school of the 'right fit'. She would feel good about making into it, look forward to be in it and most likely, enjoy her time in it. πŸ˜„ This way, we, as parents would not be unnecessarily stressed up too. πŸ˜‰

Ahh.. Maybe your DS2 prefers that school opposite NJC.. Or the one in Bishan.. πŸ˜‰

oh lah, these 2 already out of his radar. He says : No all boys' sch, not even ACS (@ Baker or Dover Rd).

He is like a yo-yo, I really need to pray at all temples for him. If he can get 250+ I would be crying with joy.

I think he can do it! Get ready your box of tissues. I think maybe Dr. Jiajia's black essence chicken dessert will come in handy.

Do you have to make choices on secondary schools before sitting for Psle?

Any idea where I can get free online past year Psle papers? Tia!

Ouch! That's a little too harsh? :imanangel: I hope he is not reading this. He has his good points too. He is still a form teacher of one class. And maybe he is still HOD (external) too. Because the new one has title as \"HOD (internal)\". πŸ˜†
Oops! But well...if he is reading, then I hope he sees that as a parent, I do not appreciate him calling my mc kid then, just because she took upon herself to do a research in a public library for an ambiguous exam question to challange his narrow-minded model answer, asking my kid - \"Why do you do so much just for 1 mark?\" Totally unnecessary! Well well..he is given a chance to stay, hope he is in for a change.

    • RE: All About GEP

      Hi,

We are residing overseas. My 2006 dd skips a grade, now in a 2nd grade (Sept 2012 to May 2013) class. She is tested as Gifted here, with Gifted IEP program on top of her regular grade class. She is also on LOA with a Singapore SAP school, that do not offer GEP.

Can anyone advice how do I go about transferring her back from here to Singapore when we return?

:rahrah: :rahrah: Welcome back. :rahrah: :rahrah:

So your dd1 will be going which sec sch next year?

Aiyo....if we will be back next year, my dd1 will only be in p6. But, not going back yet. Dd2 will be on LOA, i.e. back in name only πŸ˜‰ but I will follow thread here again.
