      Thanks for the replies.

I feel better with your feedbacks.

We are a single income family just enough but w/o much savings.

I guess when it comes to providing for our children esp. educations, its easy to feel guilty if we denial them.

But ive yet to find out how will the trip benefits him?, why was he selected?, how does it related to his sujects?, etc.

Just wondering are these expensive overseas trips common in schools now a days?

Does MOE strongly encourages or support it?

Well the further ive been to is China and paid for by my company šŸ˜“

      Tks for the replies.

DS is in sec 3. Its a 10 days trip.

He cannot use edusave anymore cos can only use once for sch oversea trip and he used it last year for Bali.

I think the trip is for them to understand the cultures and history of europe.

I wonder how many parents can affort or be willing to spend for such trips.

Do you think this is important in regards to his education?

This morning I went to VS for orientation, his name has been removed from the class list, should be sucessfully transfered to DHS.

      Hi tansm2010.
Is ur DS in 1A class? My DS in 1A. Saw a mother hastily pulled her son out of class today and walked off smilling. Her son still wearing his pri sch uniform. My wife was telling me they must hv got a place somewhere after the appeal....

No. DS at 1C. Is your DS have 3rd language at Bishan??[/quote]No. He is taking RSP in VS itself. Save alot of travelling time. Spoken to the teacher in charge of the program and quite impressed.

Isn't 245 quite a way off from DHS' COP? You must update us about his appeal. It'll be interesting if he got in with this hidden talent.

Sure, will ask ds to check on his appeal
