Hi, you can click on your profile icon (nav bar, on the right), and your user name (in the dropdown), in order to see your previous posts. Hope this helps.

Thanks Wonder-ful. I saw my posts but very incomplete. Only a handful of recent posts. We used to have thousands of posts.

      But appreciate your help.

@slmkhoo I totally agree with Integer—you have been one of the most helpful forum members. You always express your thoughts so clearly, and I am sure many have benefited from what you’ve shared over the years.

Thank you! I do regret that I didn’t archive some of the posts I wrote over the years on the various topics and the exchanges with various other members. Oh well, too bad.

Guess no one could expect the migration results. Unlikely for one to archive one’s posts. But I can understand your “sayangness”, cause some of your posts were lengthy with a lot of helpful advice. Mine were just chit chats, so not so “wasted” like yours.

hi Integer. Nice to see you again. I remember you! Our kids should be about the same age. Unfortunately, all the messages in our PMs were lost when the KSP forum shifted to a new platform. The forum is now so quiet. If you check the ME chat, you can still read the old messages from 2013. The old kakis’ names are so familiar. I might not have chatted with all of them, but I often read what they shared. Hopefully, the old kakis will come back or some new ones will join in.

Yup… today is 端午节。Wishing all 端午安康。How many bak zhang have you eaten? This year I have eaten quite a number, homemade bak zhang from my sil. Yummy.

      Hi PiggyLalala,

I can still read some of my old posts, under my nick. Some threads showing the response still around, some gone.

I also hope all the old kakis can come back - cause I think our kids are all grown up and working, so lots of free time.

I ate 2.5 bak changs for 2 days. Just had one for dinner - homemade bak chang gifted by a good friend’s mother. Yummy. Feel so blessed.

      Hi PiggyLalala,

Same as you, haven’t posted in years. But somehow this morning I decided to read : Me Time". I think I only communicated with you before, prob our kids around the same age. The rest of the kakis I do know of their existence…esp slmkhoo.

Hopefully our efforts can bring KSP to life again. Sad to see the current situation.

Today I am attempting to wrap bak chang again. Happy 端午节 KSP kakis!

P.S Can we still PM each other? I can’t seem to find the function.

Thanks Jennifer for starting this thread, and the sharing of useful articles. :snuggles:

Though not sharing (yet) but following closely...

For info, there's an older thread on menopause symptoms management:

I don't get you. Are u trying to be funny or simply lacking in empathy for a family who has just lost a loved one?

Do u have a son who is or will be serving NS?

Someone's precious son has just died under \"questionable\" (to me at least) circumstances.

As a mother with a son now serving NS, I feel sick to the bottom of my heart hearing about a life lost unneccessarily (if the Facebook account of alleged mistreatment is true). Obviously there are still lots of tekaning on the NSFs, especially for 1st year NSFs when they are undergoing training for their vocations (which Dave was), based on my son's experiences.

Even though my son is not in an extremely shiong combat vocation like Commandos, Guards, NDU etc... the amt of tekaning during training for his combat vocation is still no joke. It pained me as a mother to hear his \"stories\" during his bookout weekends, but still have to put on a brave front to encourage him to perservere.

If the Army believes these tekanings can make him a better soldier, I just have to accept it BUT NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF HIS LIFE. I can only advise him as what the hardware zone post on \"Things You Have To Say To Your Son When He Goes To The Army\". He needs to learn what to do to survive (literally) in the Army. I only have one son, one child. I CANNOT AFFORD to lose him under any circumstances, what more if under such alleged circumstances faced by Dave.

My heart goes out to the families of Dave, Dominique and all fallen NSFs...
      RIP, departed Sons of Singapore.

(Those who have sat on the ferry to Tekong on Enlistment day may have some recollection of the song they played over the speaker ...\" ...Sons of Singapore...\". Don't know what song or what title but these few words stayed with me as the ferry pulled away from Tekong that day.)

      private:
Now I know the root cause of the issues. We have GEP prep class, DSA prep class but no Army prep class. This is why our boys can’t even handle the so-call “tekan”, can’t run and easily collapse under the sun. Maybe atas tuition centre will soon offer pre-army enrichment classes. Keep a lookout!

    • RE: PW results

Just saw the post below in this thread dated Apr 16,2015.

I believe angwc is/was a former JC teacher.

      angwc:
PW is one very biased subject as the grading is not consistent. First of all the grading was done through internal school teachers and SEAB only do sampling to moderate. This means not all scripts will be re-evaluated and takes some luck to see if they sampled good reports or not.

Every year there may be schools \"specially\" selected to be moderated (down) significantly to give a signal that moderation has taken place.

They should just scrap this as A level examinable subject.
