NEW! PMO Beginner 2 (for Primary 4) and Intermediate (for Primary 5) in August 2026.

I am taking in new students now as all my students had completed Primary and Secondary Math Olympiad competitions, as well as DSA test.

Well, you may think that it is still a long time before the next competitions in 2027.

However, consider the windows for EOY, School Holiday, and Chinese New Year, we only have about 6 months to prepare for the first two competitions, RMO and APMOPS.

The training will have 2 parts. Part 1 to build up or reinforce the foundation of the current level. Part 2 will prepare the students for next level, i.e. Primary 5 and Primary 6 level.

# WEEK 4 - NMOS Online Workshop 1

I have rescheduled the workshops. Now there will be 2 timeslots, morning 10.30am and afternoon 1pm.

Well, the contest is in July, so it will be the best or last opportunity to put your hands on the past year papers.

NMOS is opened only to Primary 5 students, and it is quite important if you are considering DSA path (STEM or Math).

As I only take in 4 students per class, please register early.

# New Intake - Primary Math Olympiad Beginner - Primary 4

I am starting 2 new classes on Primary Math Olympiad Beginner for Primary 4. It will be on Friday, either 3.30pm to 5.00pm or 5.00pm to 6.30pm.

Fees is $400 for every 5 sessions.

It will likely start in June or July 2026, depending on the response.

The idea is to start the training early, so that the students could complete around 40 sessions (of 1.5 hrs each) before the competition in 2027. Well, likely will be around March/April 2027 for Primary 5 and 6 students.

RMO Round 2 result is out.

# RMO Round 2 training

RMO Round 2 was out last week.

The RMO Round 2 will be on 7th May 2026.

I am offering 3 sessions (1.5 hrs each) to look at 3 topics, Combinatorics, Number Theory and Geometry (Area).

# June Holiday NMOS Intensive Part 1 and Part 2

I have scheduled an intensive program during June Holiday for students enrolled in NMOS 2026.

Well, most schools would have arranged some training sessions (around 15 hours) for the students. However, due to limited resources and time constraints, only selected students are offered the training.

The intensive training is to cater to those that need extra helps.

Replacement session can be arranged if students cannot join certain session.

# June Holiday NMOS Workshop

The major competitions for Primary 6 will be completed soon, and students will be focusing on PSLE preparation after that.

Now, most Primary 5 students will have started their NMOS training arranged by the respective schools by now.

As usual, I will be doing online workshop to go thru NMOS past year papers during June Holiday.

The first workshop will be in the first week of June Holiday and we shall work on 2021 and 2022 papers.

A very busy March Holiday.

I have run 3 online sessions of RMO workshop to go thru 2023 and 2024 papers, and 2 online sessions of APMOPS workshop to go thru 2023 and 2024 papers.

I also started a 10-sessions SMO online program for Sec 1 student.

Also completed nearly 80% of the RMO/APMOPS Intensive training for P5/6 students.

Completed 4 sessions of SMO training at SJI on Thursday and Friday morning 9.10am to 12.30pm. A pleasant experience to conduct SMO training at SJI. The aircon room sitting arrangement is just right for a 30+ class size. The students are attentive and are willing to clarify/ask questions.

Will be arranging for more NMOS training.
