Just to find out in the case when the address of both parents NRIC is different, is it true that they will only take the father's address into consideration for P1 registration?

I'm new in this fantastic and informative forum....not sure whether this is the correct thread to post. My boy is going to register for P1 next year. Have been staying with my in-laws and rented out my house since about 2 yrs ago...but did not change address in NRIC :oops: Intend to register my son for MSHS under P2C as my PILs place is within 1-2 km. Is there any difference if I opt for Statutory Declaration or is it better to change my address? Appreciate if anyone can give some advice... thanx :idea:

My boy is going to register P1 next year (2004 baby). Have called up the school to apply for PV in June this year but was told that the application was closed... :oops:

However, we are currently staying with my in-laws and rented out my house since last year. I intend to send my boy to MSHS which is within 1-2km from my in-laws place. So now I'm wondering whether to opt for Statutory Declaration or to change the address for our NRIC. Any advice??
