Hello parents whose children are in SCGS…
Can you share the good and bad experiences that your child encounters?
My friends mentioned that the children like to form cliques and compare with one another.
I am not an alumni of SCGS so will like to have your input on the culture and experiences which will greatly help me to evaluate the primary school for my DD. Thanks!!!

RE: All About Primary Schools' Balloting History
Just a poll and do share your views on the school if you know.
Between pei chun and scgs, which one would you enroll your child into?
Many thanks in advance! -

RE: All About Full-Time Maids
Hi All. I need some advice here. I hired a helper primarily to look after my baby and for household chores/cooking. She is due for renewal but since my two children are in preschool already, do i still need a helper? Or part time helper will do? When the children are in school, i feel there is nothing much for the helper to do. Anyone here hire helper although children in school?

RE: Choosing and Evaluating Primary Schools
Hi parents who have boys and girls, I need to conduct a poll here.
I am staying in Novena and I have a boy and a girl.
Based on alumni, we can apply Pei Chun. The downside is there is no school bus. I am not sure about the culture, school performance. Any idea why it is so popular? Is it because of densely populated Toa Payoh?
If we apply SCGS for our girl, it is within 1-2km and we have to volunteer. And for our boy, if we apply SJI, it is within 1km and likely we have to volunteer. This means we have to volunteer for 4 years.
Would you take the risk and try single gender school? Thanks!
