oh yes thanks! I just went to look up on it at moe website and it does says about distance rather than the grc it's in.
I think the rules have changed to allow parents to choose the school nearest to them, rather than the grc they are in.
\"Endorsed active community leaders are eligible to register their child only for schools within 2km of their residential address in Phase 2B.
Children who gain admission under the “parent is an endorsed active community leader” eligibility to a school within 2km of the address used for registration must reside at that address for at least 30 months from the start of the P1 Registration Exercise, which is 4 July 2023 for the 2023 exercise.\" -
RE: Paya Lebar Methodist Girls
I’m interested to register my girl in 2025 registration for 2026 intake. To be endorsed as community leaders in phase 2B, is it possible to be endorsed and apply for this school if I’m volunteering in bishan-toa payoh grc?
my understanding is plmgs primary is under Aljunied grc. Does it means only active community leader under Aljunied grc will be considered for this school under 2B? -
RE: 2023 P1 Registration Exercise for 2024 In-take
hey I just found out MOE updated their 2022 vacancies and balloting data. If you select individual school, you can see the vacancies for ballot and balloting applicants. you can tell from the balloting applicants how many people you’re against instead of total number of applicants only.
Eg. Ai Tong School
Phase 2C
Vacancies Applicants
42 86
Balloting: Yes
Conducted for: Singapore Citizen children residing within 1km of the school.
