Can someone advise some differences between Chung Cheng High Main and Nan Chiau? Distance wise both ok although NC is nearer. I live near Kovan.

I got a place for my DD in Holy Innocents under Phase 2B through PV.

I’m so undecisive if I should go for PYMGS if I really stand a chance in Phase 2C next week. We’re 1-2km… Don’t know if the school will provide updated info via phone call?

Both are gd schools in their own way, no doubt. I preferred PYMGS primarily coz we’re Christians and the sec sch is much better (holistically). However, Holy Innocents is just 1 bus-stop away from my house but afternoon session …

Haiz, headache… Why didn’t PYMGS accept me as their PV last yr… I gave up her chance in St Margarets via Phase 2B coz of the distance.

Hi Magiccastle, tks so much for the advise.

Really no chance at phase 2c ah..

I actually can apply St Margaret's via phase 2b through church affiliation, gave up the idea as I thought it's too far from my place. What are your thoughts between st mar and pymgs?

I know I can still transfer her out in p2 onwards. But provided she has got gd results, right? Anyway, will keep this option open.

I like pymgs coz I think it's more holistic, and we r Christians. And the sec sch is much better as compared to holy innocents.

Haiz.. Why didn't they accept me as pv. This yr all got in, right? 🙂

Crester, why did u say PLMGS is better?

Is it academic or holistic wise? Or both? Coz Holy is one of the better schools in Hougang area.

Parents, what’s your opinion on co-ed school? Does it make much difference?

anyone here in 1-2km range going to try for phase 2c?

Me 😄 Anybody can advise if I stand a chance? How to find out on the last day of registration? Do they have up-dated info like how many have registered who are within 1-2km?

The thing is, I managed to get a place for my DD in Holy Innocents through PV and it's only 1 bus stop away from my house.

PYMGS is 1-2km away. They didn't accept me as PV last year coz they said I live 1-2 km away and they said based on past history, there's balloting.

So now, it seems that I may stand a chance in Phase 2C.

I am so undecisive. Holy Innocents is nearer to home, one bus stop away, a SAP school, and co-ed. PYMGS is an all girls school, single session, and a Christian sch. (We're Christians). And the sec sch is better, more holistic. Hmm, which sch is better, on the whole?

So I'm really torn between two schools :?

      Any advise from parents here?

Anyone know if their Chinese standard is gd?
