This is average of the last 3 or 24 hours or current psi? If average is 98, the current numbers may be better or worse but feel like worse because eyes are very dry. We won't know the psi now for sure. Not sure why and who implemented the average psi thing. :scratchhead:
that was 3 hrs PSI.
      24-hr PSI: 75 - 83.

What was the winning margin in HLBT in 2011? I thought it was comfortable.

Around 60% if I remember correctly.

HL-BT should be safe ground for PAP, I think.
In 2011, SDP had neither CSJ nor Prof Paul Tambyah. It was Tan Jee Say, Dr Ang YG, Michelle Lee or Lim and Wijey.
The 2015 SDP team is completely different and with CSJ's baggage I'm not sure how voters will be persuaded.
The HDB dwellers of H-BT have been fairly well taken care of. The Bukit Panjang and Toh Yi divisions will get DTL soon; the Holland HDBs got their MRT station a couple of years back; the Clementi HDBs were upgraded. So I really don't think SDP can make much inroads here.
HBT has been taken care well except those retirees which are asset rich cash poor - but refused to downsize (which will free up much-needed cash for them). Their property tax has gone up quite a bit.

"We don’t have a lot in the current slate. Mostly not fully groomed/experienced/seasoned yet, I feel"

Could not agree with you more. If you look around in cabinet, no many left to pick and choose to allocate portfolio, especially MOT. Current team still need to be groomed but time running out for next leadership to take over the current team. We always rely on PAP will continuously bringing in new candidates & test them out if they are capable of becoming a minister one day but IMO this task will become more difficult & challenging as the “Lui” effect (no matter how hard you work, what you facing is continuous mocking & vilification) is here to stay. He may be ok to face it, how about his family / children? Really a job that is 吃力不讨好. Why join politic? I remember VB & NEA also facing similar problem when PSI reached 420, is he the culprits? He is luckier than Lui, situation last only short period, wind direction help him. People remember only the one mistake you made but NOT the thousands good you have done.

      In the ST today

      http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/transport/lui-tuck-yew-on-comments-in-support-of-him-like-obituaries-eulogies-without-the

\"In the 36 hours since it was announced that Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew would not stand for re-election, he has received a flood of e-mail from Singaporeans thanking him for his work.

But about one in five writers, he shares in an interview with the Straits Times on Thursday (Aug 13), expressed regret for not speaking up more against negative comments online, or regret that they were too critical of him.\"

So if you see what you feel to be unfair and uninformed criticism, speak up!
For any PAP MP or minister to speak up against netizen, it will be perceived as defensive, even if you speak with numbers to proof them wrong, there is no end to this fruitless debate with them but it turn out that too much of mocking will wear the person / or his family down, a responsible netizen is what we need...

Just saw moe web. Still hv phase 3. 😓 🙏

Phase 3 is for foreigners. I think MOE will allocate a school for those who fail in Phase 2C(S) before Phase 3 starts.

Not sure if help, but below from MOE FAQ:

How will the places be allocated in Phase 3?

In Phase 3, children will be admitted in the following order.
      a. Children who are Singapore Citizens (SC).
      b. Children who are Singapore Permanent Residents (PR).
      c. Children who are not Singapore Citizens (SC) or Singapore Permanent Residents (PR).

For categories (a) and (b), allocation will be conducted according to the order of priority based on the home-school distance category. For category (c), the allocation of places will take into consideration factors such as availability of school vacancies and ensuring a good spread of students.

MOE will publish the list of available primary schools for parents to register their child in this phase. MOE will thereafter centrally process all the applications and the posting outcome will be released to parents by 30 November 2015.

In view that the Phase 3 vacancies are limited, MOE posting is final. We will therefore not entertain nor reply to appeals on the posting results. Our schools will also not entertain any walk-in applications for admissions or transfer of non-SC/non-PR children.

Surprisingly, Sengkang green day 1 shortfall already 128 vs whole 2c shortfall of 63 last year, guess all parents "chong" on day 1 and withdraw on last day and go somewhere else.
