Our Junior School Hse was previously Little Tree House.
Chk out also Cherie Hearts @Starhub and the other 2 childcare centres at Vertex. The centre at Starhub is probably more popular and established in Ubi area.

RE: Childcare in Boon Keng
>It is hard to find an affordable, accessible and good childcare in Boon Keng!!
Actually, it is much easier @Boon Keng, as compared to the new estates like Punggol and Sengkang. Mindchamps is too ex. Closer to Kallang - I think there is also Agape and Carpe Diame at Picco. -

Any feedback on the \"Express Right Brain Chinese Literacy Course\" conducted for P2? Any parents who have kids who attended and benefited?
my child attended the pri one express literacy chinese course last year for 2 terms. The materials are quite good but maybe due to the class size too big, teacher did not manage to control the class. There are students talking at the back and teacher just continue teaching. At the end of the lesson, my child cannot recall what he learnt and did not help much in his studies. Therefore stopped after 2 terms. Probably i did not try long enough to see results.
He was very reluctant to go, until his classmate started attending the 2nd class. -

RE: All About Speech Therapy
I know of Kidspace Learning Place located at the old fire station at upper bukit timah offering speech therapy. Heard that their fees is lower than most private therapists and the therapist is experienced with children, can engage them. You might want to check them out.

RE: Cherie Hearts
My son K2 fees was 850+ before subsidies when he graduated last year. Recently when my friend check at the same branch, the price was more or less the same.
Checked the fees published on the mcys Childcare link. Most are priced between 700+ to 900+.
Which branch did you enquiry? Only those in city area or commercial/work place will charge so high. -

HI, anyone sends their kids to Cheriehearts Harbourfront? They recently announced a hike from Jan 2013 where their full day playgroup prices will jump from around 1.1k to 1.4k before subsidy. Just want to get some views about whether they're starting to ask for the moon.
When my kid (now in P1) was still in CH another branch last year , the fees were about 800+ before subsidy. Can check the MCYS child care link, http://www.childcarelink.gov.sg/ccls/home/CCLS_HomeChdCccLst.jsp for the latest fees. -

On issue 1, how do you ascertain that your son's wallet was stolen? Could it be accidentally misplaced? If there is no evidence that something is stolen, it is at most considered lost.Issue1:
My son's wallet was stolen during Wushu class. I called up to inform the school. The lady who picked up the phone said there was no returned wallet on Friday. Sigh...she completely missed the point (same as the Old Chang Kee incident whereby the staff say 'it's not an insect, it's not 6-legged'!) - it's not the wallet - there is theft in school and this should be brought to the attention of the discpline master, or whoever...she didn't even ask for my name or contact details. I'm going to write to the school.
