NYGH have 4 SBGE classes out of total of 12 classes, but these 4 classes also consist of MS children. And don't think it is based on a certain cutoff point in PSLE, as there are some in these classes who are not far off from the COP. In RGS, there is no SBGE classes, all are mixed classes. Actually no one asks or cares about who is from GE anymore. Their class allocation is based more on practicality considerations it seems, for e.g. those who are on certain special program, e.g. MEP will be grouped in the same class.
RGS applies their own gifted education syllabus into all their classes. Hence, once you are admitted into the school, your child is considered high ability student.

Yes, I am referring to RGS.
And yeah, they are in the top class of RGPS GEP , so pretty sure they can get through RGS through T-Score

Off topic, sorry. But out of curiosity, you mean RGPS ranks the gep classes?

      Cool nurse,

based on what Swc is asking, website indicated that there are 2 GEP (RGPS) classes,
      ie. 6P and 6Q
the rest, are seven P6 Mainstream classes (6A to 6G)

      source of info (RGPS website)
      https://rafflesgirlspri.moe.edu.sg/staff/staff-list/p6-form-teachers

since you mentioned that \"they are in the top class of RGPS GEP\",
is class 6P or 6Q, the Top GEP (RGPS) class ?[/quote]I Guess she is referring to top 2 GEP classes and those students can Breeze into RGS with Tscore. There is no ranking in RGPS

I think most schools are still at ROI stage (Request for Information). Shortlisting stage will start early July.

Once shortlisted, you are one step closer to finish line.

My Guess is sports and academic trial may resume physically, Just keep safe distancing and spread out the trials.

Since Parks, gyms and sports complexes are opening, I don’t see a reason why trials still need to do via online.

This is the final year for PSLE Tscore. Next year virgin cohort to try out AL scoring.

I suspect large numbers with single digit competing popular schools May end up balloting, hence DSA 2021 is even more important to secure a place early to get a peace of mind, than the anxious wait of balloting.

Yes. Having a firm offer in hand is better than anything else during this uncertain times. Frankly, we don’t even know how PSLE will be conducted. And how the scoring and posting will be affected since some topics will be removed.

Some DSA only schools already started sending emails.

Better check emails daily, we won’t know how fast the selections will take since most teachers are working from home, And some domains only have a few applicants.
