Depends on what you intend to do with them.

At the onsite interview, candidates were required to leave their belongings outside the room.

The NUS invitation letter states that there are 2 stations - Scenario station and Portfolio station. Interview style, not written.

To be precise, is there a quota for accepting students with international medical degrees? Also reg the medical seminar, I've just signed us up! I don't know if there is a quota (internal or otherwise) for international medical degrees. It seems like it would depend on the performance of the conditionally registered doctors from recognised universities.

Looking at the 4+4 years at Yale-NUS and Duke NUS, seems like the course gives equal emphasis on both degrees. I agree 4 years in Duke-NUS is probably going to be rushed since NUS/NTU med are 5 year courses and UK is 6 years. But I guess 4+5 years may be pushing it.

It is essentially 8 years for two degrees. As the Duke-NUS degree is a post grad one, it makes sense for it to be really crammed and rushed as the mid-career students would want to graduate quickly and get back to working to support their families. For those pursuing the post grad immediately after their first degree, I imagine they would want to start work sooner than later after already spending a good part of a decade studying in the uni.

You're right that they would want to start sooner than later! It's a long route to an MD qualification.
