      my child's tuition teacher

I check some kids score for boy 258, 257 No EESIS , but I see a girl at 258 get EESIS ? Why? All mainstream kids!
      Hi shuangbaoma,

Does this mean that this year EESIS COP is 258?

If anyone can help what does EESIS COP represents in terms of top % of this year cohort?

      Than you!!!

if my t-score is two marks lesser than the cut-off marks of a school, can I still apply and have a chance to get into the school?

      you shall try.

in general, this year t-score is not high.....

      Hi Siling,

Can you share some thoughts and assumption that - this year t-score is not high? Will be lower by a few points? Thank you so much.

Hi, Does anyone has ESIS score and thus the top x% TScore national wide? Try to gauge whether the COP for the top school will go up or down. Thanks a million!

    • RE: Dunman High School (Junior High)

6 years of daily commitment. Distance is a concern. Need to get some views from experienced DH parents. Thanks !!!

Comparing DH & NJC, since both of them are government schools and similar COP (256/255) for Sec 1 posting last year.

For us, DH will take 60mins to reach, door to door from Ang Mo Kio : walk+MRT1+MRT2+Bus 158. NJC will need to take only one direct bus, 45mins. Of course, we can arrange for one way private bus in the morning.

Went to DH Open House in the previous year. Very impressive - strong school culture, bilingual, competitive and almost all students/teachers who we talked to were very passionate about the school.

Went to NJC Open House today. NJC is also a solid school too with smaller class size (25 per class) and students will most likely have the chance to take the CCAs that they want. Plus extensive Science and Research program for all students at all level.

Will the differentiated DH experience worth the daily commute "sacrifice" ?
