    • RE: How long it takes to renew Indo PP in SG?

I have just renewed my Indonesian’s helper passport from Singapore embassy. However, I noticed that the employer’s address was not filled in on the last page and neither was there an endorsement stamp. When I called the embassy to check, I was told that since it is the new biometric passport, the employer’s address is no longer needed to be visible in the passport as it is all in the biometric chip. Has anyone’s helper travelled with the new biometric passport without the usual endorsement stamp and not experienced any issues?

Appreciate of someone can help explain how to solve this. Thanks.

Mr Noor paid $1740 for a total of 25 soccer balls and basketballs. Each soccer ball cost $84 and each basketball cost $48. How many of each type of ball did he buy.

      variation of the \"chicken & cows\" question

$1740--> think total number of legs
25 soccer balls & basketballs --> think total number of animals
      1 soccer ball cost $84 --> think 1 cow has 4 legs
1 basketball cost $48--> think 1 chicken has 2 legs
      can u work it out?

      cheers.

      Managed to figure out. Thanks!

Thanks Mrs Wong for your clear answer.

Appreciate some help in another question:

Judy had 200 coins in her saving box. There were only 10¢, 20¢ and 50¢ coins. First, she replaced all his 20¢ coins with 50¢ coins of the same value and there were 146 coins in the saving box. Then she replaced all his 10¢ coins with 50¢ coins of the same value and there were 66 coins left in the saving box. How many 50¢ coins were there in the box at first?

      Thanks

The school bus can carry 24 adults or 40 children. If there are already 15 adults and 13 children on the bus, how many more children can the bus carry?

      Hi

      24 adults ------ 40 children
      3 adults ------- 5 children

      15 adults ------- 25 children

      25+13 -------- 38

      40 – 38 -------2

      Best wishes

      Hi Tianzu,

Thanks. I can understand. Often my problem is not knowing how to articulate the workings to my child without confusing her. Can you give me some tips please? How do I explain the concept of ratio being used here?
