You should see some of the juveniles that are really \"beyond parental control\" - those that hang out with gangs, do drugs, shoplift, become runners for loansharks etc etc.

AY is 小儿科. Really 小题大做, 浪费资源. Just because a bunch of adults 吃饱没事做.

Translation: AY is child's play. Really making a mountain out of a molehill, waste of resources. Just because a bunch adults have nothing better to do.
      :goodpost:

Has he killed, murdered or slapped anyone? He didn't smoke or drink or do drug. So what has this kid done to deserve all these treatments? To say what he wants to say plus expletives and for speaking the truths that most adults dare not do so or even admit it? And not to the liking of most people, the Same group of people who chose to watch his videos.

I guess his videos will gain more acceptance if he could do away the expletives. And I'm pissed with all the bashings here. From those who think they are the best parents, who think they can be a better parents if they have a kid like him.

Please do not give credit to yourself when you are not in his parents' shoes.

What I see in this case is a testing ground of how far we, as a pathetic shut-up society, has fallen backward. We are getting closer to the North, thanks to everyone here

My ds is on Starhub prepaid $10 since P4. It used to have validity of 6months but now only 4months. The accumulated amount can be quite a lot as he seldom use it. We have given him a 1Gig data card this year, which is given with our home M1 fibre package.

So I will top up $10 to his prepaid card once every 4 months.

Is there any way of using up the accumulated balance for prepaid? My older girl is a very low user, and even on the $20 every x mths (M1 prepaid), she doesn't use it up! We don't know what to do with her balance. Is there any way to transfer it to another M1 user?

I'm not sure about M1 prepaid. As far Starhub, I have lost more than $30 over the years due to expired card which was when I forgot to topup. I don't think there is any ways to transfer the value as far as I know.
Hi, may I know what type of prepaid card do you all give your dc?

Dd has the singtel 3G prepaid card, no other data plan but she is able to access the internet through it without wifi.

      Using singtel prepaid card.
Can use to surf but card value depleted in 3 days. Happen once when we didn't realise we have to do some prior setting on phone

My girl is stingy so she super heartpained 😆

My kids are on M1 prepaid. Can't remember the rates, but they don't need topping up often ($18 every 3 mths or longer?) as they don't surf on their phones. They don't make many calls or sms either - mainly to let me know if they are late etc, and for meeting up with us or friends when outside. I am on Starhub prepaid - only my husband has a data plan.
My ds is on Starhub prepaid $10 since P4. It used to have validity of 6months but now only 4months. Don't think COP is a good indication at all. 250 this year could be different from last year and years before that as the exam could be considered easy or hard for that year. So, the COP is expected to be going up or down depending on that year's results as a whole and the students who applied for that school.

** Unless the same papers are used every year...then the numbers will be comparable.

      250 (2014) <> 250 (2013) <> 250 (2012).....250.....n :lovesite:
      Agreed.

Good morning, my ds 1st choice started with V received at 6.30am. I don’t think it is by school’s alphabetical order.

      what so unhappy ?

if they don't top in St Nick, they will top in some other schools in SG.

they are hungry for success. we only hungry to gripe.

AND being top in St Nick or SG does not preclude other Singaporean students from obtaining the same results. O Level is not a ranking or placement exam

Not sure if all the sec schs are doing this but i find it kind of misleading to let whole Singapore believe that St Nic has the ability to groom their children from P1 to Sec 4 to top their cohort with their consistent top scorers at O'level every year (IP not introduced then).

Unhappy bcos once again 'imported talents' strategy is used with limited resources. Don't tell me that the school has 'allocated resources' for these foreign students. Nowadays all resources are limited and scarce. You give some, you got to take some from somewhere else.

Every year at the briefing for P6 parents all these made known to parents - t score formula, SD, posting procedure, decimal pl etc

      Appreciate your transparency

I don't need to jeopardise my friend's job to prove anything. If indeed you say that the briefing for P6 parents the decimal place system is made known to parents, it is very interesting that in my years of tutoring and having good relationships with many parents whose kids are in many different primary schools, I've not heard parents mention this after P6 briefings. Perhaps my students are somehow not studying in Singaporean primary schools? I doubt it. The only place I see this decimal place thing being mentioned is on KSP forums. It could be true; it's just that I've not been able to independently verify this. Is it a problem that a person reserves comment on something he/she is unable to independently verify?

Please refer to 'Choosing your Sec Sch 2015' booklet, SECTION III, 7.1 and 7.2.

Quote from 7.1: \"... according to their PSLE aggregate scores ROUNDED TO THE NEAREST WHOLE NUMBER.\"

Quote from 7.2: \"... If there is a tie, say between two Singapore Citizens, the one with the higher UNROUNDED aggregate score, ...\"
