I'm thinking to order cup cakes, save some time to cut the cake and can sing b'day songs altogether then just grab and eat, ya?
Sounds like a great idea.....ordering cup cakes.
When is your DD's birthday?
Yeah!!!i think cupcakes are a great idea!!!
the girls can all have one each...no paperplates and messy cutting!!!just put a candle on the birthday gal's cupcake then all done!!!

RE: Marymount Convent
that's why i put her to GSSC coz usually i got meeting in early morning which i can't keep her at home or maybe when she goes P3 morning session then it's better for me. but like what u said can't really work if she's around, keep calling mommy, mommy, mommy, i totally understand it, but maybe at that time she's a bit older then she can be independent???
i'm in financial industry, it's a win-win situation for my company to allow staffs working from home coz save cost too.
jesyeo:
Oh good that u enjoying ur work. which industry are u in? I used to work full time from home before DD1 gets into P1. Now have to change to part time as I need to cook lunch and prepare her for school in the morning. So how u manage ur DD? Put her in day care while u work during the day?

RE: Marymount Convent
i agree, we (women) should pamper ourselves well too, now i understand why there are so many school holiday, it may not mean for kids but for us (parents) to take a break too.
cantbearit2:
I understand wat u mean. Sometimes IM juz so tired. :?: But u sound like a supermum. Tink we have many supermum in this thread. Ladies, on 8 March (δΈε «ε¦ε₯³θ), we shld gif ourselves a pat on the back. Hee.....jesyeo:
hmm..I just feels very tired having to handle the kids, household chores and work together. That's why decided to quit. My circumstances is a bit different from most of u. I work from home :). So morning till 1pm, I will do household chores, cook lunch, tutor DD and prepare her for school. Then I start work from 1pm to 5pm at home. AFter that will cook dinner, bring the kids back, make them eat, shower, homework blah blah.
I have tender but my boss wants me to stay on for a few more months till he can find a good replacement. Just tot of going back to work as a freelancer after I resign. But if really got kids wants me to tutor them, then I can also consider. hahaha..flexible.
If u can work fr hm, Y do u still wan to quit? My DH oso works fr hm, gif him some flexibility.
