Dear All, I will recommend Dstar BASC, my son attended this ctr before and I can say that this is a good environment ctr among other ctrs in Jurong area, they provide at least proper meal for the kids, good tuition and good holiday excursion planning by their ctr's owner (if I'm not wrong their ctr's owner is Sharon).

Hi MangoKiwi,Hi Kiasu_mum,
Do you mean Little Professor at Blk 711 ?
I went there few years ago, managed to \"tour\" around the place. Basically the place is not big and quite run-down. Not very appealing to me as a parent.
I've been reading good feedback about Little Professor so last year I went to take a look again, hopping to see a better environment. But to my disappointment, there is no change at all. The centre looks like not many students there, very quiet.
Why don't you try and take a tour to D Star Educentre http://www.facebook.com/DStarEduCentre -

I see.. so does it means if 2B only have 10, the 100 will be given to 2C ?
Example: If there only 10 places taken at phase 2B, the balance 100 places will be added into phase 2C, so the next phase (2C) will have 210 vacancies. -
RE: Frontier Primary
Hi maywong,
Nothing wrong with the MOE website,
220 Vacancies break into two phases: 110 for 2B and 110 for 2C
If you look at the new school vacancies (Westwood pri.) you will get into a clearer picture. -
RE: Frontier Primary
I've called MOE to clarify and was told that this decision was made by the school principal (Martin Koh), what are he trying to do... does he still remember what he had said before school opening blah blah blah...then school started he reduced to 20 places I understand he is trying to keep some for the 2013 pupils but can't he think that 2013 intake parents still have the option to choose school but we parents of the frontier's pupils don't have the option to choose because our children are already studies in their school I think this priority should and must give to us! His decision is inappropriate! This is so call empty shell salesman! talk without deliver! I think we parents need to bring up to MOE and the media!

Hi, we didn't turn up for the balloting as we are unable to apply leave after had our leave taken on that day before for the school sport day as you know as a working parents we really can't take leave so often and also cannot afford to take so many days. 16 remaining places for 64 application??? something is not right it should be 46 for the 64... They are good in selling their product at the end we get empty shell...mintpapa:
Actually they should release all the 50 seats, We parents were told that their school had future student care and etc...so We decided to choose their school but once our child enrolled to their school and ended up they only released 20 seats  this is something like selling without deliver!mad: just like a empty shell salesman... and those some of the office staffs especially the admin mgr not really that friendly is not the same as I met her during balloting at West Grove primary school, after all I very disappointed about Frontier Primary school management and MOE decision. Is seems like talk without deliver! is something like I had been drag into the pirate ship :imdrowning: ! sigh...one word i would like to describe I VERY DISAPPOINTED THE WAY THEY HANDLE ALLOCATION OF THE STUDENT CARE! FIAT I'VE MADE A WRONG MOVE VERY SAD. I WILL ASK MY RELATIVE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE ENROLL TO THIS SCHOOL!
Hi, did you witness the balloting conducted last Thursday afternoon, I heard there were 64 \"fighting\" for 16 remaining places... (slim chance of 1 in 4!!) another four places were supposedly reserved for \"those truly deserving\" ones... it is really unfair to us parents who chose the school based on their \"advertisement\" of a after-school care... can we appeal to MOE??
furthermore school operated not even two months pupils asked to take back fund raising card to help to raise fund for the poor and and I believe many parents show their sincerity and try to raise as much as they can but at the end the poor get more benefit from the sandwich group I don't have the mean to discriminate the poor they do deserved to get help from the society but how about us sandwich group our SOS msg are falling into deaf ear... appeal to MOE do you think the armchair leaders will hear our voice? -
RE: Frontier Primary
I definitely will not enroll my second child into this school any more! switch off to their cock up planning!

:goodpost: AGREE!!! I'm now facing same problem with you. Student care is our MAIN concern to choose this school, as we are full time working parents. Now we are stuck....
Precisely PeiPei,
in the first place, before parents enroll their child into their school they should let all parents know that their student care space is limited so this at least will let us have some ideas to deal with and not a sudden pop out decision to spread into three years intake and now we parents and our children have to suffer to their management mistakes! Frontier primary school and MOE decision are very irresponsibility! to their words of mouth. They deserved my criticize!
