u can try calling
65659390
or 96366996 (Mr Koh) tuition centre, Jurong area
I’m in Ngee Ann poly now.
from my own experience Mr Koh and his tuition centre is excellent in helping students in science, math, and POA.
personally i science(PHY/CHEM), Math, and POA when i was in sec3, all the way up till my O’s.
some parents feel that 1 to 1 tuition would be better, but trust me, you won’t regret sending your child to his tuition centre.
however, his fees are considered a little more expensive than others out there. but he assured me that i will get and A in my O’s (i thought he was arrogant back then, but it did came true and i got As for every subject he taught me)
he had a unique way of teaching, by incorporating friendship and humor at sometimes but extremely strict in attendance and attentiveness.

RE: ANY GOOD TUTOR FOR SECONDARY 2 SCIENCE ???

RE: Secondary 2 Streaming
from what i know and experience, having double Pure science will definitely help him when he enters JC. having A math is also an advantage when he enters JC.
these subjects are similar to what JC year 1 are taking and thus he will have an easier time (keeping in mind that JC is still not easy)
having said that, him having Pure Physics and A math will NOT limit his choices to get into JC, the only thing that limits his entry is his L1R4 result after O’s.
as for his limits of choices for Uni, it will depend on the streams he choose only after he admits into JC.
in other words, his subject combination for Secondary sch does not limit his choices, it lies whether or not it can prepare him well enough for JC -
RE: Is Motivation talks/camp effective?
vlim:
Hi there are a few company organising motivation talks or camp for children. Wondering is it effective and does its motivation on kids last long? Does it worth the money ?
most are ineffective.
background of myself, im a Ngee Ann poly student, i joined this forum out of curiosity and found out that many parents do not know clearly what is happening in schools.
at least for my own past experience, programs from adamkhoo etc. (supposedly motivational talks) are ineffective. the program conductors spend more time making everyone laugh than inspiring students.
while receiving their \"jokes\" i had a feeling that they are not motivated into really doing their jobs (come and go attitude\")
well having said that, it is just from my own perspective, some may feel it enriching.
