hmmmm well done was not quite my reaction after her audition to the other school :roll: , but I did admire her determination and ALL or nothing approach. There was no other school in her eyes and did not want to be forced into choosing btw SOTA and the other school.

When you say \"safer\" here, you mean that there's an O-Levels to fall back on, right?

I think I meant safer as in like A level its a more traditional path to local U. Rather than SOTA being very specialised school. But I am fully aware this is just old thinking that's why we are making efforts to find out more about SOTA .

As for transfer back to O level, I know of someone who pulled her daughter out from SOTA to move her to a neighbourhood school. So I think there is always that option too if we need to take it.

Quite a similar situation. My daughter also received SOTA MUSIC, MGS O Level, SCGS IP, and NJC WL. We are planning to attend the MGS DSA Tea to find out more even though she doesn't want to take O level exam in 4 years time.

My preference between the CO was also IP because it seems \"safer\". However having talked to a few SOTA students and music teacher, we're starting to lean toward SOTA IB. We will also be talking to a friend who is also a SOTA academic teacher to find out more about the school, after all we have never attended the open house, nor get a spot for the tour during Talent Academy. This way, she can decide whats best for her learning style. At the end of the day, my wish is for her to enjoy the next 4 (or 6) years of school ALL the best! Maybe our kids will be classmates
