b2b3m4:Our society needs more parents like you.I am viewed as a bad parent because I let my kids fall and fail.
Irony.
Viewed bad parent by
- teachers: because I did not check my kids' diary to ensure they finish all their task / homework.
- other parents: because I did not remind the kids of their test/ exams or send them for tuitions.
- colleagues: because I refuse to pack up the kids' room and fold up / put away their clothes after they have been washed or ironed.
- SIL: because I dun believe of buying presents on my kids' behalf for their friend's parties. \"Your friend invite you, you settle your own gifts. They usually make cards, trinkets or give away what they deem as precious to them.

RE: Police investigating 'unnatural death' of 14-year-old boy
If anyone here has any decency or respect to the deceased and the people involved, they should stop gossiping and speculating on this tragedy.

RE: Nan Hua Primary
I realised that homework has been steadily increasing and my child needs more and more time finishing them. I went back to work a few months ago and I could not guide and support as much as I would like now as compared to when I was a SAHM. I imagine it’ll only get worse as my child enters upper pri.
So dilemma if I should continue working or go back to being a SAHM. Any parents here could share their experience with NHPS workload and exam preps and how are you coping? Would greatly appreciate! -

RE: Opinions of the Primary School Registration System
I’m curious, how is a school’s brand name created and maintained? Over the years teachers and Principals change, and primary schools have little or no control over the type of students that go in, unlike sec and JCs which have cut off points to have a consistent standard.

RE: Nan Hua Primary
My child has been coping well in school, except for higher chinese. Not sure if other parents feel the same? Or is it because we don’t speak mandarin at home. There is no tuition for any subjects.
