Hi Herbie, it could be because the school wants the child to learn how to learn which means they may give them the outline of the topic and the child hv to read and find out more by himself.

Hi tisha, ds had lunch when he reached home.in fact he didn’t even eat during recess, which means his breakfast at 5.30am last him till ard 4pm.yesterday packed a few pkt of snacks for him for today.btw do u know there are how many normal chineses class for sec 1?There are only 14 students in ds chinese class.

Thanks tisha, yes my ds dsa to the sch by band and his practice will be starting this tuesday.don't know whether still need to fill in the cca form or not.he is in archery for EEP.We do not intend to enrol for the TDP so as not to stress him with too many new things.I do not know any parents in the sch but luckily I have you and some others to share with. :grphug:

Has any sec 1 received the cca selection form via mail or hardcopy?My ds says there should be but i can't find in the website.Is your ds enrolling in the TDP selection test? :thankyou:

Last night my son told me this term they are doing chemistry. Teacher said no textbook needed.Don’t know whether right information given by him.He’s still trying to get use to secondary school life.
