Just wondering, traditionally, which are the CCAs with vacancies after the option exercise?

Also, per instruction, we must fill in all 6 CCA options. Do we fill in the extra options with CCAs that have rejected us and/or CCAs for which we have not auditioned?

Hi! dd intends to fill up the extra options with the CCAs that she went for trials but did not get an offer.

Guitar club prac is twice a week in school? What about during SYF ?

I think it depends on the how popular that CCA is. I think if you get offered, that means they have reserved a place for you , which means you will almost definitely get in. However I think if you are on waiting list rank two for that CCA, your chances are quite high. But still depends on the popularity of the CCA. Hope this helps.[/quote] :thankyou: :celebrate:

During the CCA orientation talk, it was mentioned that only 3 CCAs (library, Malay society, Indian cultural society) can be taken as 2nd CCA. So I thought that means the rest are main CCAs. Don't recall any mention of 'core' or 'merit' CCAs. Wondering if there is some change in CCA policy this year? :?

one teacher asked my dd whether she wants to take the soc as a core or merit cca. So there is core n merit aka 2nd cca.

So a 'Main' CCA could be classified as either core or merit cca? I misinterpreted & thought Main=Core. :oops:
