I believe so. More applicants than vacancy per moe. Word of mouth said 1 more citizen applicant within 1 km than total vacancy hence balloting. Final word on balloting or not will be given by moe.

in case anyone was deciding between ACS and SJIJ, when i called SJIJ at 1.30 she told me that there was 54 SC applicants within 2km.

Ultimately I will go for the one that stands a better chance of getting in. Both schools are good and ultimately the path to secondary school is the same.

Does the limitation on affiliated school intake impact registrations in ACS, do you think?

Essentially it will come down to the last day and hour of the phase. You may have friends or family members who situate themselves at each school to WA the numbers. Be prepared for very last minute swing in numbers, whether by withdrawal or registration
