Just to share with you mine. My kids r in p1 this year. Indeed this year quite stressful as schs are already into balloting for phase2a2.
For me last year,i did list greenridge as my 2nd choice as i’m oso an old gal frm SV. i didnt know of WS till june when their cc gave out brochure on this sch. Eventually decided to put WS as my 2nd choice instead after the chat session with the WS principal.

So i went ahead to register at SV 1st as during tat period WS is already quite popular here (scared phase2c cant get in at least i still hv SV.)

Eventually,i decided to withdraw frm SV to place my kids in WS. Overheard a conversation between a parent n the principal during the p2a2 registration which makes me having 2nd thoughts on SV.
My kids r happy now in WS.

Just wanna say, choose one which u think suits yr kid n feel comfortable with.

My gal is end dec bb. I'm more worried for her nxt year when she's in K1. Cos she is lacking behind her peers on writing n recognising certain alphabets n numbers. Her spoken languages so far are gd n clear.
Its seems like most of the year end babies tend to have slower learning pace than their peers.
Any mummies with year end kid have the same issue?

I know of a year end born Dec boy whose mum sent him to I-Creative Learners for enrichment. He blossomed and was far ahead of peers.

It does not matter if your child is born in Jan or Dec. if you do not intervene early in their academics, you will not see progress. Either you consider teaching yourself or sent for enrichment. Slow and steady wins the race. If you practise with your child about writing numbers and letters, your child will improve with time.

Just realised that the vice principal is no longer with WSPS? Gotten feedback from parent that she is kinda of worry on the turnover rate as the sch had just started n VP has changed.
For us parents, we too, are also wondering will this also affect other teachers?

Understand there will be an MTL outing for the students on Tues. Hence the art class will not start on that day so can i know when will the art class be starting? I did not receive any notification on the art class after payment is made so am not sure whether my boy has gotten a place in the art class?
