Totally agree with you Voltes5 and 25HMOM. It’s just not the right way of doing things.

The girl who managed to appeal successfully to TKGS must be overjoyed. We are all hoping for the best outcome from our appeals. I think we can empathise with that and should feel happy for her and her family too. All the best to her!

Although the rationale for the guideline set by MOE is to be fair to those who are admitted to the school, it does seem to place a strong emphasis on the Tscore for which the PM has shared a desire to move away from in his 2013 National Day rally speech. That’s like just 2 years back.


If this guideline is to stay beyond this year, it will only add even more stress on P6 students and their parents. If it does not stay beyond this year, it would not be fair to this year’s P6 students. Besides, how could it possible to be fair to anyone who took the examinations this year if no information is provided or shared before implementation?
