Hi. I have read through many pages but could not get my head about what should we do. Choice is between Wang Lao Shi at AMK, Han Language Center at Khatib or continuing Berries at Yishun. I was wondering how do you guys judge which is the appropriate center for a N2 going to K1 kid?
My daughter is currently in N2 and will be going to K1 next year 2020. She has been attending berries since N1. She love attending berries and is actually looking forward to her younger brother attend the same childcare and berries with her next year.
We are a Chinese speaking family and she goes to a full day childcare.
Currently her chinese standard is actually not bad/good (Based on the feedback from her childcare teachers and Berries). Can recognise quite a number of chinese words. Whenever she comes out from the berries class, she always get a sticker for able to recognise the word or read the word.
To illustrate her chinese standard, my daughter currently can say/read the P1 Higher Chinese Textbook Happy Animals (Grandparents bought that book thinking it was a story book for her level at N2.). I believe she actually can recognise most of the words in that book also.
Therefore, we are pondering to remain in berries or switch her over to wang lao shi or Han Language Center to push her standard even higher. Any input will be welcome. Thanks.
