If you score 252, how do you know if you qualify for IP? Thanks.

      if you qualify for 3rd language = u r in top 10%
IP is for top 10% , even though IP schs COP varies yr 2 yr, is b cos is the top10% figure varies yr 2 yr
so 252 definitely will get into IP just not those w super high COP but the sweeper COP schs šŸ˜„

if i not wrong you can check this forum fr previous years, all those offered 3rd lang the lowest PSLE score is also IP sch lowest COP

If i recall correctly, their cohort should be 360.

If 360 excludes GEP, then 70/360 MS is only 19.4% scoring above 250. Not v impressive then.

I was told RGPS has something like 45% above 250 and if 55 GEP kids all scored above 250, then they have about 100 out of 270 or 280 MS kids scoring above 250. That is about 35%. But I did not see the slides. I got this info from group chats.

yes 45% above 250.[/quote]all GEP schools will get better and better PSLE results because every year MOE inject super smart GEP kids into th schools, subsequent years GEP kids siblings will follow to go in same schools because of sibling priority, so every year hv super smart genes coming into the school :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

      slmkhoo:
I just heard from my daughter that girls are selling notes and books in school advertised through the school email. If you know someone who can help you look, you can try there I guess.

Thank you slmkhoo! We don't have school email yet, but will ask dd to check when she gets it.

The notes is actually more for us parents to know what to expect and what lies ahead, as my dd don't take any tuition so her only help is from us parents in the past, and we don't have IP during our time, so need to find out more šŸ˜„

Hi, I am not sure of other levels but at least for the first two levels, the materials are mainly in soft copies and there are hardly any hard copies materials to be thrown away. Even self-written notes are mainly in soft copies either in self-reflection blogs or google drive. The seniors will normally share their soft copies notes but my dd does not really use them.
      There are few textbooks too.

Noted and thanks for sharing, alng.

I'm not sure if this is well-known, but my batch (graduated last year) compiled all the Y1-4 notes we had into a website for our juniors to use. I think we publicised it to the current Y4s, but not sure if the juniors know about it. Not so many notes for lower sec, but upper sec has many. Hope it's useful!
