We have never considered AJC as we understand that it is a no-nonsense school
and need to study all the way type. We thought it will be too stressful to study in this kind of environment.
My daughter picked CJC because when she went to the Open House. She felt the closeness of the students and the teachers dedicated and also closer to our home. Now that you mentioned Nanyang JC, we may consider but may I know what is the percentage of students making it to the local University
Supposing if she is unable to take H2 Chemistry, what about changing to H1 Chemistry and H2 Econs ?
Thanks and Have A Really Great Day !!!

RE: All About A Levels
Thanks Edureach for your advice.
I will ask my daughter to appeal for ACJC and wait for outcome.
Meanwhile, based on my daughter results as follows:-
A1 for SS/History, A2 for English/E Maths/A Maths/Biology/Chinese,
B3 for Physics/Chemistry and C6 for Higher Chinese.
She is thinking of going into the Science stream taking H2 Maths, H2 Biology, H2 Chemistry, H2 Econs, GP and PW. We are not sure whether this subject combinations is good for her and hope to receive views and comments !!!
Thanks in advance for all the kind assistance

RE: All About A Levels
Thanks verykiasu2010 and Edureach
Do you think we should go ahead to appeal to go ACJC and SAJC ?
By the way, how is CJC overall in terms of their strength and academic results and the percentage of students that can be admitted to the local University ?
Thanks again !!! -
RE: All About A Levels
My daughter has a score of 7 points (after deduction of 4 points, 2-CCA and 2-Higher chinese) and have opted for Science course in ACJC. To our disappointment, she was rejected and got posted to CJC instead (2nd choice). We are now thinking of asking her to appeal to ACJC and St Andrew (3rd choice) respectively. Can anyone comment and advise whether this is the right thing to do. Please also give us your views on ACJC, St Andrew and Catholic Junior College. Thanks in advance
