Hi, just to provide some update: DS and his friend (both of them 2nd year in NS) will be disrupted on 13th June to matriculate at NTU Medicine. With this 1st batch of news and exercise, WL should be moving next week cos not everyone will be offered disruption or choose to disrupt. All the best!
:congrats:

I heard frm my DS that he got the offer from NUS Medical School yesterday afternoon around 12noon but due to the fact that my DS is still in NS and didn't get back to them immediately and they called me instead at around 4.30pm to ascertain that the email sent out to my son was originated from NUS medicine and not a spam email.
Understood from the person in-charge, either my son or myself have to get back to them the next day before 9am. So, I couldn't reach my son at that time, I was replying to NUS Office admission on his behalf to confirm the acceptance of the offer that he wishes to matriculate the medicine course this year.
It's a kind of relief to all of us now as compared to my daughter's time 8-year ago, she got 2 offers from both universities (ie NUS & NTU).
For those who are still in WL, there is still a good chance to receive good news from NUS medicine.
All the best & TC
Based on our last year’s experience, “processing” means not successful to get an offer for medicine and the application is currently assessed by another department. You probably get the offer for your 2nd or 3rd choice in a few days time. Don’t despair - can always try local U next year or consider UK, Australia and/or Dublin… that’s what we are prepared to go through… all the best!
Totally agree with Desmond. It’s so hard to get into local medical schools, we shouldn’t even have the mindset thinking of breaking bond.
Just to update that DS got NTU offer on 30th April. We are so thankful and happy after failed attempt at NUS last year (went through FSA and SJT), failed to get offer from UK medical schools (mainly because no biology at O and A levels) and not successful at NUS ABAS this year. We should cherish if got acceptance 😊🙏🏼
No news yet. Applied through ABAS route. If have, will post too!
Thanks for sharing… my son is in the same position as yours… still waiting for any news from NUS through ABAS. Have you heard any?
My son was transferred out from MSHS. I have bought school uniform and most of the books and willing to let go at 1/2 price. His shirt size is 18 and pants 34. He is about 1.67m tall. Let me know if anyone is interested
