We are currently overseas and have appointed a proxy to Report at the posted Secondary School. Is the result for the 3rd language application given out at the Secondary school and what do we need to do if the application is successful?

Hi, we are currently overseas and have appointed a proxy to register at the posted Sec school tomorrow. How do we know if the application of the 3rd language has been successful?

My DD recently received the Edusave Certificate and my DH commented that it may be the last time she would get it since she's going to GEP next year. So I'm curious now how do they award the GEP children these Edusave Awards, top 25% of the GEP cohort in your school or across the 9 GEP centers? Can't be with the mainstream in your school since they take different exams right?

Based on the gep cohort of that particular school.

      Thank you

      [quote=\"phoenix\"]Hi,

Can we drive into the school to drop off the girls at the roundabout? What about at dismissal time or after CCA?

      Thank you.

I am referring to drop off for the morning session.

roundabout is the front porch you're referring to : Gate 1

      early morning :
from 6.30 am to 12.30 pm, Gate 1 is open
you can drive up the roundabout, drop off your girl.

      instructions from school :
\"Pupil should be seated behind the driver's seat & be ready with her school bag to alight, once reach the roundabout.
Drivers and other passengers should not get down from their cars at the pick up point, to avoid creating inconvenience to others, like : delay / holding up other cars behind, creating traffic jam.

when driving out of school premises via Gate 1, drivers are reminded to turn Left, to ease traffic flow.\"

Dismissal time or after Cca (Gate 1) -
      Mon & Wed : 2 pm to 3.30 pm

Tues, Thurs, Fri : 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm

      Gate 1 opening hours :

      Thank you.

Are there any colour restriction for the cardigan or is there a RGPS school cardigan available for sale? We can buy any coloured PE school t-shirt? How often do they need to wear this t-shirt? What are the restrictions for school shoes; only white? Any socks or only RGPS school socks? Sorry for so many questions as we are travelling this week till end Dec so have to get everything ready within these few days.

Is there an orientation for the new GEP girls before school starts? If not, how would they know where to report to on first day of school? Are parents allowed to walk the girls in on first day?

I had the same questions last year 🙂

      Cardigan/jacket - no restrictions
PE school t-shirt (colours meant for P1s only) - you can buy any colour or mix colours. Advisable to buy at least 2 first - 2 PE sessions a week for DD last year.
School shoes and socks - anything that's white.

There wasn't any special orientation before school last year, but after school starts, with everyone else. There will be signs, and teachers and the principal (she's mostly there early in the mornings from 6.30am) at the main school building drop-off point [Gate 1]. I didn't walk her in on the first day, or any other day. They are much more savvy by now - not P1s anymore!

Let her bring a book to read, and a note book.

      Thank you so much!
