Yes, I think that is a very important consideration, thanks for highlighting! I am more inclined towards the IB program. Much appreciated!

      Hi,

My son sat for PSLE last year and is in the IP leading to IB Diploma. If you have any specific questions you can pm me and I will try my best to answer your questions if you do not want to post your questions here 🙂

Janet, fifiyeo and parents who feel down about PSLE results:

PSLE is over and done with. Don't look back, choose a suitable school and focus on secondary school. You have been great parents and your DC will grow up to remember that you journeyed with them in PSLE. Your reaction will determine their level of self worth. So give them smiles and involve them in pros and cons of the 6choices to show that life goes on. 15 years later, this phase is but a memory. *Hugs to all*
I think you are quite right. After I got through the nightmare of my son's unexpected results, I realized that part of my anguish was becos it put a dent in my self worth. Here I was, top student in my primary school, distinctions in O and Level and post graduate degrees but could not ensure that my son got a high PSLE T Score? Was I so worthless as a tutor to my own DS?

Now that the dust has settled I have given myself a pep talk and told myself to look forward, my DS looks a bit happier. Don't let the poor 12 year old carry the burden of our shattered dreams ! All will be well!

My DS sd waiting for results is worse than waiting for PSLE. At least for PSLE, he was busy studying. Now it’s just a yawning emptiness as we wait. Good luck everyone!

Help needed for Henry Park Prelim 2012 Paper 1 Q8. Do you include the \"Lime caterpillar\" in the population of the \"Lime butterfly\"? The suggested answer includes.

      Thanks in advance!

      Hi

In a population adult and young are included.

For example, a frog and 10 tadpoles make up 1 population

My dc also wrote a fire scene from the picture but outside the house !! really worried that it may be out of point ! Any english teacher out there to share your views ? Thanks

Can be if they link it properly to say that it was a joyous occasion marred by or ending in a tragedy. Not sure cos didn't actually see the picture but so long as what was shown in the picture is part of the story should be ok. Don't worry!!!!

My DS told me that the continuous writing was about a library where you heard a sound that was growing louder and louder. Sounds ‘do-able’. Pray and hope for the best.
