I have just received a letter informing us of P1 orientation etc for 2014 for my DD2

The house that she is assigned is different from her elder sis.
Is it the usual practice?

I had hoped that it will be the same so as she can use her sis's PE tee shirts.

Can i write in to the school with regards to that??

Also, she will be in P1/10.
I had heard somewhere that the school usually placed the students with siblings in the first few classes, and followed by phase 2 etc...
are they adopting a different practice this time??

now i have to digest the figures, and assess my dd’s chances of getting into SCGS.
now that citizens are given absolute priority, maybe we stand a chance of surely getting in for within 1 km at Phase 2C

I'm looking at 140 applicants fighting for 76 vacancies in Mee Toh. Best part is, all of them are within 1km. So stressed.

my friend got her ds into mee toh at phase 2a
but she decided to pull out becos of distance....serangoon vs punggol.

so that is one more extra vacancy for phase 2c

i am very interested in enrolling my DD into St. Marge.
However, we are out of 2km.

It seems like doing PV would be the only chance of improving the chances of my DD enrolment…
any one has any idea the deadline for PV submission??

my DD is born in 2006 and will be going for P1 in 2013.
